Pass the Social Security Fairness Act (H.R. 82)

For 40 years, the Government Pension Offset and Windfall Elimination Provision have been unfair penalties that take away Social Security from millions of educators and other public service workers like firefighters and postal workers. These Reagan-era reforms unfairly harm public servants while allowing others to receive overly generous benefits. I urge you to call for a vote immediately and pass the Social Security Fairness Act, which would repeal the Government Pension Offset and Windfall Elimination Provision.
