Every day new horrors by ICE. Last weeks oversight committee was a terrifying living nightmare of revelations of cruelty, lying, abuse, contempt for the law and for due process. Footage is released showing Rep LaMonica McIver did NOT push an ICE agent as ICE claimed. Footage released showing a woman detained by ICE did not "assault" ICE but was assaulted by them. Children zip tied. Dialysis patients denied care. Pregnant women denied medical care. A woman's wedding ring cut off her finger with a wire cutter. Agents lying and brutalising. Kidnapping citizens. Denying habeas corpus. Veterans who risked their lives for America detained. Tasers used on bystanders. Bystanders lied to and told they aren't allowed to film. ICEA lying and saying a hurled sandwich that didn't even come out of its wrapper was a weapon. Somewhere a new Anne Frank is in an attic typing: "terrible things are happening in the streets. Children come home to find their parents have been taken." The overwhelming majority of people taken--kidnapped and trafficked --by ICE have no criminal record. Trump had more felony convictions than most detainees. Meanwhile a few giant corporations are being paid MILLIONS to run concentration camps. Meanwhile the tax-paying and law abiding immigrants and brown Americans detained by ICE can't do their jobs or pay their taxes while they are in prison. Brennan Center Research show that immigrants commit fewer crimes than citizens. ICE are Trump's Gestapo. 2025 America will be held alongside Hitler's Germany as a text book example of racial hatred, fascism, and the undermining of Democracy. EVERY member of Congress owns this. It's happening on YOUR WATCH. THIS IS EVIL, CRUEL, and INSANE. Please use all the tools available to check this monster you have funded. Do oversight.
