An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stand against unauthorized military action in Iran

11 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I’m writing to you today in strong opposition to what appears to be an illegal act of war against Iran. Don’t get me wrong, the Iranian government is awful. It sponsors terrorists and is responsible for thousands of innocent deaths. However, that does NOT authorize President Trump to unilaterally attack Iran, bomb a girl’s school, and threaten its people with “death” without CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL. Trump called it a “war.” Last time I checked, any declaration of war must come from Congress, not the President. For this reason alone, it’s time to oppose this unauthorized military action in Iran.
