And the parents left? They identify the bodies. Before we retreat back into our strongly held camps and before we proclaim our strongly held beliefs, we need to sit with these parents. These parents who, holding onto to every ounce of hope, were met with the unthinkable - identifying their 2nd grade baby. We owe these children so much more. Bearing witness to how this all works is quite simply the least we can do.”
