More scenes from the DOJ protecting sexual predators. An investigation into a Trump Cabinet member’s husband for sexual assault has been closed following a joint review of evidence between the DC Police and the US Attorney’s Office. DC’s MPD reportedly searched Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s office on Feb. 5 as part of an investigation into sexual assault allegations against her husband. Mr. DeRemer was accused of inappropriately touching two female staffers at the Department of Labor. Detectives from MPD’s Sexual Assault Unit conducted a review of evidence in this case with the USAO. USAO determined that there was no evidence of a crime. And based on that finding, MPD’s investigation into this matter was concluded. No evidence of a crime even though the husband was banned from entering the DOL headquarters after local police received credible reports about his alleged misconduct. MPD filed a report on Jan. 24 about an incident that occurred at the Labor Department headquarters on Dec. 18. “The complainant reported a sexual contact against her will,” it read. AND the alleged incident was caught on internal security cameras. Just a continuation of Jeanine Pirro building a firewall around people deemed to be above the law. This month, she also tried to clear Steve Bannon’s criminal record. Why? He was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers. Isn’t a presidential pardon enough? Something to do with Epstein perhaps? Secretary Chavez-DeRemer has also been the subject of an internal investigation into her alleged affair with a member of her security detail. She has also faced allegations of “abusing her position” after a complaint accused her of “sleeping with a subordinate and drinking on the job.” Add in Kristi Noem and her fancy flying adulterous love nest, the continued DOJ road-blocking on Epstein, and unshakeable forgiveness for the convicted sexual predator in the Oval Office, the GOP seems to have become the party of lost morality. But it seems more likely it wasn’t actually lost. It just never existed in the first place.
