Trump declared himself King on social media. He is denying Musk is in charge of DOGE (even as Musk gains access to information that should be kept secure and fires a broad range of civil servants and guts our federal agencies). They fired the people charged with securing our nuclear energy as well as those trying to protect us from the latest possible epidemic (bird flu) without preserving information to be able to call them back. They are bypassing Congress, reversing laws & agencies created by Congress without your consent. This is illegal. Yet, What is Congress doing about that? What are you doing? You’re all just letting them dismantle our democracy. You’re letting them make us less safe. You’re watching silently as Trump alienates us from our allies, blames Zelensky for the war, cozies up to Russia, ignores Musk’s and Vance’s support of the Nazi party in Germany (as Germany reacts in horror). You are being complicit in the dismantling of the America that the founders worked so hard to establish and that both parties have protected since our inception. Why? Will you get the guts to protect what we all hold dear or will you wait until they come for you too? By then it will be too late. Please do your duty and your job. Don’t let a want to be dictator actually become one. Be our firewall.
