Protect the American people, not polluters Vote NO on H.R.1 !

I am urging you to oppose the budget reconciliation bill, H.R. 1. The bill includes handouts to coal, oil, and gas industries, allowing them to pay a fee to bypass environmental, health and safety protections and put people at risk. This isn’t safe, and it isn’t fair. As your constituent and an American citizen I demand a better future for our children. Climate chaos is upon us and we need clean energy initiatives, not handouts to polluters. I’m also concerned that the bill proposed to end the clean energy tax credits, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs across the country. Our communities are benefiting from these programs and working families are saving money on electricity bills. Vote NO on H.R. 1.
