end mass starvation in Gaza

At this moment, thousands of aid trucks full of food are waiting outside of Gaza, but Israel won’t let them in. This mass starvation of the people of Gaza (most of them children) is an entirely preventable atrocity that will haunt the consciences of those of us who are currently allowing this to happen. The US has immense leverage over Israel. Since October of 2023, ordinary US citizens have taken powerful and imaginative actions – including hunger strikes, protests and boycotts – to call for an end to the genocide. It sickens me that those with power in the US government have not done more. I’m calling on you to use every tool at your disposal, yes legislative, but also your voice and visibility, to demand that aid be allowed into Gaza. There should be no business-as-usual as long as the people of Gaza are starving.
