Stand Against Putin—Restore Military Aid to Ukraine

President Trump’s latest threats to impose “new” sanctions on Russia are a distraction from his real agenda—abandoning Ukraine while siding with Putin and other dictators. The U.S. has already enforced large-scale sanctions since 2022, but Trump’s suspension of military aid and intelligence sharing weakens Ukraine’s defense and emboldens Russian aggression (The Guardian, March 3, 2025). His actions make it clear: he stands with autocrats, not democracy. Congress must act now to restore full military and intelligence support to Ukraine. Any peace deal must be on Ukraine’s terms, not dictated by Trump’s pro-Russia stance. The U.S. must stand firmly against authoritarianism and ensure Ukraine has the resources to defend itself.
