Safe, Effective Reproductive Health Care

As you know, mifepristone is a medication that has been used safely by millions of people for abortion and miscarriage care for more than 20 years. In fact, it is safer than acetaminophen. Yet anti-abortion extremists are attacking access to mifepristone to force a nationwide back-door abortion ban that the American people do not want. As one of the 8 in 10 Americans who support the legal right to abortion, I urge you to reject all efforts to restrict or ban mifepristone and to protect access to reproductive health care nationwide. I will be watching closely—and I will hold my elected officials accountable for defending our reproductive freedom and the will of the people.
