I am a housing advocate urging you to support the Amendment 508 in the Economic Development Bill, or the Tenant Right to Purchase Act (TOPA), that is advancing in the legislature. I urge you to support TOPA. In addition, I believe Massachusetts should be setting policies that increase home-buying incentives, provide more funding for existing homeownership programs, or increase opportunities that allow low or moderate income families to afford the current homes they occupy as tenants (not just wealthy individuals). Please vote YES on Amendment 508.
