Sending more weapons of war to an internationally declared war criminal is NOT how we get to a ceasefire. It's not better to drop bombs with a smile than it is to drop bombs while spreading hate speech. I get not wanting AIPAC to work against your campaign like they did against Cori Bush (though why we let other countries openly spend money on our campaigns is beyond me, I thought we were upset that Russia tried to influence elections, but it's okay when Netanyahu does it?), but people are being murdered with our tax dollars. It's bad enough we're not investing in our own infrastructure, education, environment, healthcare, future sustainability, but to turn around and use the taxes of all of us, from immigrants to working moms to college kids working summer jobs, to use what we're barely scraping by and fund genocide with it? How much joy are we meant to have when we're sending bombs on schools and hospitals in Palestine? How does your party make any of it better just because you can keep a civil tongue while you're killing people?
