As a once proud and now ashamed Republican, and a Christian, I ask you to support the peaceful “No Kings” protest. This movement is rooted in the same values that built our nation; liberty, equality, and the belief that power belongs to the people, not to one ruler.
The “No Kings” protest stands for a timeless truth: America is a republic, not a monarchy. It calls attention to the rise of unchecked authority, the erosion of democratic institutions, and the dangerous idea that any leader can stand above the law. The phrase “No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.” reminds us that freedom cannot survive under domination or fear.
These peaceful gatherings honor our most sacred constitutional rights—freedom of speech, peaceful assembly, and freedom from religious oppression. Our founders risked everything to ensure that no one could use power or faith as a weapon against others.
