Demand oversight of DOGE's data access, privacy protocols

I have major concerns about the actions of Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The revelations that DOGE has gained access to sensitive Treasury data, including Social Security and Medicare payment systems, are deeply troubling. This level of access to Americans' personal data raises serious privacy and ethics issues. It is critical that special government employees like Musk fully comply with all applicable ethics rules, conflict of interest laws, and financial disclosure requirements. Granting sweeping access to payment systems and taxpayer information without proper oversight and safeguards is unacceptable. This situation demands scrutiny and accountability. As elected representatives, you have the authority and responsibility to conduct vigorous oversight into this matter. I urge you to investigate the scope of DOGE's data access, ensure all ethics and legal requirements are being followed, and take any necessary actions to protect American citizens' privacy and government integrity. Transparency and adherence to established protocols must be maintained, especially when personal information is involved. This situation underscores the need for robust checks and balances on executive power. No individual or group should be permitted unfettered access to sensitive data without proper oversight mechanisms in place. I implore you to swiftly examine these disturbing developments and take decisive steps to uphold the public's trust in our government institutions.
