An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Do not allow this administration to erase our history or our legacies!

25 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

The removal of content honoring the service and sacrifices of black, Hispanic, and female veterans from Arlington National Cemetery's website is deeply concerning. Stripping away this history diminishes the immense contributions and courage of these servicemembers who defended our nation. Every person laid to rest at Arlington has a powerful story deserving to be shared and celebrated, regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender. Erasing these narratives disrespects their profound legacy and undermines efforts towards an inclusive military that represents the diversity of America. We must preserve and uplift the accounts of all veterans to inspire future generations and foster unity through understanding our shared struggles and triumphs. Restoring this essential information should be an urgent priority in order to properly honor those who gave so much for this country.
