Investigate Jared Kushner's War Profiteering Conflict of Interest

Open a formal investigation into Jared Kushner's dual role as a volunteer Middle East envoy and majority shareholder in Phoenix Financial, an Israeli firm with hundreds of millions invested in Israel's military contractors. This is a textbook conflict of interest, and the fact that Kushner sidestepped disclosure requirements by volunteering instead of taking a paid government role makes it worse, not better.
CNN's investigation found Phoenix holds at least $265 million in Elbit Systems, Israel's largest arms manufacturer, plus stakes in eight other companies supplying drones, tank parts, artillery fuzes, and warships used in Gaza. Affinity cashed out a quarter of its Phoenix stake in July for over $340 million — more than five times its initial investment — while Kushner was actively negotiating the ceasefire. As Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington put it: "The people profiting should not be the people making the decisions to make that policy."
Kushner himself told a podcast his Gulf investors are "now looking at Israel" because of the war. That is not diplomacy. That is war profiteering with a White House badge. Constituents deserve answers, and Congress has both the authority and the obligation to provide them.
