Draconian Federal Cuts

As a Senator, you are in the charge of Federal Budget. The draconian cuts suggested by the Trump administration go too far, set up the country for enormous dangers from foreign adversaries, and destroy the social safety net - all American principles. We all know there is bloat, but where are the experts in dealing with forensic accounting? Why are you publicly saying absolutely NOTHING about cuts to veterans, after publicly fulminating constantly that you are pro-veteran? Why are you abandoning your ideals? Who are you, Senator?
