An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Demand Action on Sailor Welfare and Military Funding Misuse

110 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

Investigate the living conditions across the carrier group — not just the USS Abraham Lincoln — and hold Pete Hegseth accountable for the crisis he has allowed to fester. Sailors are reporting broken showers, inadequate food, and conditions so dire that six attempted to jump overboard. Their families are being silenced about it, which is a First Amendment violation, plain and simple. This isn't isolated to one ship. If it's happening on the Lincoln, it's happening across the entire carrier group. These are volunteers willing to die for this country, and they're being rationed water and denied basic dignity while Kash Patel flies in luxury and JD Vance runs up a vacation tab on the public dime. Redirect that money back into the welfare of the people actually doing the fighting. Hegseth has the authority to fix this. The question is whether you have the will to make him.
