Why do you continue to standby idly by as Trump continues to commit acts of senseless cruelty and destruction? Deporting 240000 displaced Ukrainians who came here to escape the terror inflicted on them by Putin is just one more in a cascade of unchristian behaviors directed at the meek and vulnerable. Trump is destroying our standing in the world and alienating our true friends. He is crippling the institutional memory and expertise of so many agencies that it boggles the mind. He is not saving us money in any real sense and is just selling our soul to the billionaires. At the end of the day, the republican in congress will be responsible for this obliteration of our norms and democratic institutions because you alone have the power to stop the insanity but don’t have the guts to do it. We are slipping toward an oligarchy in the manner of Russia and it is frightening and it will be your fault.
