Prevent atrocities in Iran

The president is threatening genocide - implying the use of nuclear weapons - in a war that he started without the approval of Congress. The only sane, moral action is for you, a member of one the few institutions with any power to stop this, to reconvene Congress and act to prevent a historic atrocity. If his statement is only rhetoric, which is impossible to determine based on his increasingly erratic behavior and language, even that is enough to justify action, as these reckless threats are globally destabilizing and put American and international lives at risk.
