Investigation and Resignation Request for Dr. Ladapo's Inadequate COVID-19 Response

The escalating COVID-19 situation in Florida, with a projected total of 100,000 deaths by the end of 2023, necessitates immediate action. As of December 18, the state has reported 99,631 COVID-related deaths and 8,426,232 cases. The current approach to healthcare decision-making, seemingly influenced by personal political interests, is inadequate. The appointment of Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo as Florida Surgeon General and Secretary of the Florida Department of Health has not resulted in the needed improvements. Therefore, it is requested that the Florida State legislature initiate an investigation into this matter and consider demanding Dr. Ladapo's resignation. This is a crucial step towards prioritizing public health over political agendas.
