An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Budget should uplift working families, not provide tax cuts for wealthy

5 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

The proposed budget plan should not provide tax breaks for the wealthy and prioritize the needs of working families instead. Tax cuts for millionaires and corporations fail to drive economic growth and increase inequality. We must reject policies that disproportionately benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class and low-income households. The budget should invest in programs that create good jobs, expand access to healthcare and education, and uplift communities. Fiscal policy must focus on building an economy that works for all Americans, not just the privileged few.
