No freeze on federal aid

I am calling on you to speak out against President Trump's actions on Monday in freezing all federal aid. This is blatantly illegal; the Executive Branch can't unilaterally decide to ignore laws that were passed by Congress, especially when it comes to financial aid. Members of Congress must take action, and maintain the checks and balances of our government. Congress has the explicit power over the budget, and it should not be overwritten by an Executive Order. Please reply with how you will be stopping the freeze and ensuring that the millions that are directly impacted by financial aid will not be harmed.
