USPS plans to close Reno mail processing facility

I'm sure you are aware of the USPS ridiculous plan to move mail processing facilities from Reno to West Sacramento. This plan will further deteriorate the already poor service in the Reno-Sparks area. It routinely take 3-5 days to get a letter across town without sending it to Sacramento first. Additionally, how many local jobs will be lost? Also, there is the environmental impact of sending additional trucks back & forth. And...what of the winter weather that routinely closes I-80 between Reno & Sacramento, adding additional delays. A very poorly thought out plan that has zero to do with providing better service and has everything to do with the long held goal of big business of privatizing the post office for their corporate gain. I hope you will step in and defend the rights of postal employees as well as postal customers.
