Stop the FDA from Limiting Access to COVID19 Vaccines

I am deeply concerned by the FDA's recent announcement that they plan to restrict COVID19 vaccination availability. It is no secret that COVID19 is no ordinary illness. It has rendered young, perfectly healthy and able-bodied individuals weak and immobile. This disease continues to devastate individuals long after the initial infection has passed. I myself still suffer from intense boughts of fatigue that I've never experienced until after infection with the virus. But I am still incredibly lucky that this is the only issue long COVID has brought me. There is no such thing as a "higher risk" population. We are ALL at high risk of severe illness and death when facing COVID19. The vaccine is a viable way to protect oneself from severe infection complications, it is NOT the silver bullet that protects you from it forever. Constant boosters are required to stave off infection, much like the influzenza vaccine. Prevention of access to this vaccine will render it useless. Herd immunity unable to work effectively because the majority of the population does not have access to the vaccine, and those who still receive it will be at even greater risk by constantly being exposed to a general public circulating this quickly evolving virus. Loathe as I am to repeat this infuriating phrase that circulated around the beginning of the pandemic, but the virus is not political. Viruses are unliving pieces of protein that react to outside stimulus. To us. The people of the world. Our cells, our lungs, our bodies. You would do well to do your jobs and prevent this from passing so that ALL Americans may continue to have the choice to protect themselves and others around them.
