Fascism is here. Speak out. Condemn the search of Rep Omar's apartment

Fascism has arrived in America; wrapped in a flag, wearing a KKK pillowcase on its head, brandishing a cross and spewing words of hatred and division. Congress needs to take a stand. Speaking out against the betrayal of our rule of law is not optional. Declaring that you are against the subversion of the constitution is not optional: it is your sworn duty to defense the constitution. Silence is compliance. What will you condone? I am outraged by the ongoing weaponisation of ICE, the DOJ and HSI to go after those Trump perceives as his enemies and opponents. It began with him chanting "lock her up" about Hillary Clinton. It continued with the arrest of Rep LaMonica McIver for doing her constitutional duty and the prosecution of James Comey for posting a photo of some seashells on a beach, exercising his freedom of expression. And now HSI have searched the apartment of Rep Ilhan Omar-- with no crime listed on the warrant. I am outraged and you should be too. Whose house will be searched next? Using the machinery of the government to intimidate political rivals and dissidents is illegal, unconstitutional, and unamerican. Whose house will be next? What would you say if a democratic president did this? Every member of congress (including house reps on their paid holiday) needs to use all the platforms they have to condemn this. Every member.
