Communities need access to the latest climate data and projections to make informed decisions about protecting public health, reinforcing critical services like transportation and emergency management, and shoring up local economies against climate shocks. The insurance industry is already raising rates to account for rising climate risks that the federal government refuses to acknowledge. Home values will plummet in vulnerable areas. Ignoring reality will not make these risks disappear but will leave Americans dangerously exposed. I urge you to support policies grounded in facts, science, and proven strategies to enhance community resilience and safeguard our nation from climate threats.
