Defend Constitution, Stop Executive Power Grab

The Republican party's FY26 budget threatens to undermine the Constitution by expanding executive power at Congress' expense, an unacceptable violation of democratic principles. Lawmakers cannot treat these negotiations as business as usual with the system of government at stake. Stand firm in defending the rule of law and separation of powers. Reject any measures consolidating presidential power without Congressional oversight. The integrity of our institutions depends on resolute opposition to the Republican agenda's violation of checks and balances. Fight to prevent Trump from grabbing Congressional authority and do not give legitimacy to his anti-democratic power grab. Uphold the law and Constitution by forcing Republicans to abandon efforts to subvert democracy's foundational principles. Democrats must stand firm on upholding the law, abiding by the Constitution, and getting Republicans to sign on to preventing Trump from grabbing congressional powers. DO NOT give in or treat the current FY26 budget negotiations as 'business as usual'! FIGHT and do not give legitimacy to what Musk and Trump are doing! I am watching CLOSELY. Defend democracy!
