Stand with Ukraine - Demand Russia surrender their unjust war NOW

I am writing to urge you to remain firm and unwavering in support of Ukraine during this brutal and unjust war. Russia alone chose to start this war of aggression. Russia invaded a sovereign, democratic nation without provocation, and it is Russia alone that must end this war immediately. Ukraine is innocent. The Ukrainian people owe no apology and carry no blame for defending their homes, their freedom, and their right to exist as an independent nation. Russia is 100% guilty of the devastation, death, and instability this war has caused, not only in Ukraine but across the world. Congress must speak out clearly and forcefully. I urge you to press the President to condemn Russia in no uncertain terms and to directly call on Vladimir Putin to surrender now. Russia must be told in the strongest language possible that their aggression is unacceptable and will not be rewarded. The United States must continue to send an unmistakable message: we will not stand by while an authoritarian regime tries to erase a nation and redraw borders by force. We must strengthen Ukraine’s ability to defend itself, hold Russia accountable for its war crimes, and push for a just peace—one in which Ukraine’s sovereignty and security are fully respected. I urge you to ensure that Congress does not falter in its support of Ukraine, and that Russia is pressured—through sanctions, international isolation, and continued aid to Ukraine—to end this war immediately.
