Demand adequate guidelines and laws for AI application! Freedom depends on it!

Good morning. As you are aware, AI is the new Wild West. Lacking appropriate guidance, governability, and accountability, artificial intelligence threatens a free country, press, and individual expression. Withholding of intellectual property markings, many AI videos and media are largely inseparable from verified media- the least educated among us will fall for it every time. This is dangerous on many levels- content creators use AI to disperse questionable ideals and information. Most common among these are cartoons with unverified medical information for mass consumption. While most of the advice is largely folk medicine and of little perilous consequence, some of them advise viewers to eschew the opinions of their doctors in favor of unverifiable claims online. The American people appear to believe that AI is infallible. They use chat gpt to verify queries and facts. They don’t realize that their own interactions with the platform inform the bot how the user thinks and what the user wants to hear. It does not even validate the information it gives unless directed to. So, for example, if I were to write an email to the governor of New Jersey, and the AI has not yet been updated, and I fail to tell it to do a credibility check of my addressee and my intentions, it could very well write a letter to Murphy instead of Sherrill. This isn’t catastrophic, but it isn’t accurate, either. Now we have “Dr.” Aron D’Souza and Peter Thiel marketing AI programs aimed at attacking and disparaging members of the media. Knowing what we know about the validity and credibility of AI thus far, a platform such as this could (and likely would) eliminate the voices of any conscientious objectors to governing powers- essentially shutting down oppositional views and public access to unbiased information. This leads to state-run media- like Russia and N. Korea. It violates the constitution and the rights of WE THE PEOPLE of the United States. Demand adequate guidelines and laws for AI application!
