The US has a system of state and federal laws. Mainers are independent sorts and I want the Senator to oppose any legislation that includes FEDERAL PREEMPTION OF STATE AI LAWS! We shouldn’t weaken safeguards on AI technology at a time when we need MORE regulations to protect the public from the dangers of artificial intelligence - intellectually, economically, and environmentally.
