I live in a small town. Few Jews. Fewer Blacks. A few gays. Lots of Latinos.
Regardless. They are all your constituents.
So how do you feel about the rise of white supremacism in your party? Any chance you will condemn the actions of your figurehead, DJT? You know, the dinner at Mar-a-Lago?
The claims that he didn’t have a clue who he supped with are ridiculous. He’s stated his views on the subject over and over again. ‘Very fine people’ anyone?
Do y’all plan to stay on the sidelines, which is part of the problem? Apathetic actions based on fear of losing power has led to the current resurgence of this vile perspective.
Silence is acceptance. Silence is agreement. Silence is appeasement.
So who’s left in your party to try and stop this? Anybody? Except a few very lone voices bleating in the wilderness?
If y’all were looking for an out, to get away from Trump’s mesmerizing power, this might be the time.
Be brave. Stand up for your constituents who are not white. Or Christian. There’s a bunch of them.
Stand up for your country that is the world’s melting pot.
Better late than never.
