Vote YES on Restore Trust in Congress Act to Limit Unethical Trading by Congress

Members of Congress have access to sensitive, privileged information to be able to anticipate and legislate as part of their jobs. Some use this sensitive information to make huge profits from buying and trading individual stocks that they know will perform well. A report has been released showing members of Congress outperformed the stock market. Using insider privileged information to gain an advantage in the stock market is not only illegal but also deeply unethical. Bipartisan legislation has been introduced banning this practice so Americans can respect and trust in Congress again. I call on you to vote for the Restore Trust in Congress Act to ban Congressmembers and their dependents from abusing their position to make huge profits in the stock market.
