Fight Hunger and Defend SNAP

I’m writing to urge you to oppose the unprecedented SNAP cuts and expansion of SNAP work requirements included in both H.R.1 and in the Senate Agriculture Committee's proposed budget. I am also concerned that the Senate proposal excludes work requirement exemptions for veterans and unhoused people and forces states to shoulder a greater percentage of administrative costs. SNAP is not a handout, it's a hand up for people, especially children, who are suffering from poverty and hunger.
