Proposed legislation that lacks comprehensive and scientifically accurate sex education is a disservice to students of all genders and sexual orientations. Such measures perpetuate harmful misinformation and stigma. All young people deserve access to age-appropriate, LGBTQ-inclusive curricula that equips them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. This legislation must be opposed to uphold the rights and dignity of every student.
