Stop the "anti-weaponization" fund!

Stop the illegal and corrupt “anti-weaponization” fund! Accept no compromises! President Trump’s attempt to create a $1.78B slush fund to funnel money to his cronies is not only shockingly corrupt, it’s blatantly illegal. Stop it entirely - no compromises! It doesn’t matter who it goes to. The DOJ proposes that this money would come from funds intended to be paid to settle government lawsuits. But this isn’t a settlement. The lawsuit was rescinded because the judge would have thrown it out. This is a self-dealing agreement between Trump and Trump’s DOJ. It’s blatant theft of the public coffers. It’s Congress’s job to decide how federal money gets spent. The DOJ can’t just announce a $2B fund in a sham document and then Don’t accept any “compromises”! There’s so much emphasis on the idea that the money would go to violent insurrectionists, I worry that’s a set-up for negotiating the fund into existence by promising to add “guard rails”. Shut. This. Down. Stop the corruption. Impeach the Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and President Trump for even attempting this travesty of justice. Stand up. Speak up. Do your job.
