Vote NO on HR7: Protect Women's Healthcare

I am writing as your constituent to urge you to vote NO on House Resolution 7. This resolution, while deceptively framed as supporting "life-affirming medical care for women of all ages," is, in reality, a dangerous and regressive measure that undermines women's autonomy and their right to make deeply personal healthcare decisions.
Women must have the freedom to make choices about their bodies and lives without interference or control by the government or any other party. Access to safe, legal, and comprehensive reproductive health services, including abortion care, is essential to ensure equality, autonomy, and well-being. H.Res.7 appears to be an assault on these rights, using language that would give men a voice in women’s healthcare decisions—a concept that is as insulting as it is harmful.
The resolution also perpetuates inequality by failing to prioritize the unique and essential healthcare needs of women. Instead, it ties women's healthcare to a framework historically designed for men, which risks diluting the focus on the distinct challenges women face. Women deserve comprehensive, inclusive, and equitable healthcare that centers on their needs, not a framework that imposes others' voices or agendas onto their care.
Statements like "women's healthcare should take into account the needs of men" are deeply concerning and reveal the true intent behind this resolution: to erode the rights and autonomy of women. Decisions about healthcare should be made between women and their doctors, with no external interference.
Please stand up for the fundamental rights of your constituents by opposing this harmful resolution. Protect women's healthcare, their voices, and their choices from ideological interference. I trust you will represent the values of fairness, equity, and autonomy in this critical vote.
