An open letter to the U.S. Congress

No Russian Disinformation in the White House

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The former president's claims about Ukraine being at fault for the war and suggesting they could have negotiated to avoid the conflict are concerning. These statements appear to originate from Russian disinformation, rather than factual and credible sources. It is crucial for national leaders to rely on truthful and vetted information, especially regarding matters of armed conflict and geopolitics. Dismissing accurate reporting simply because it contradicts one's desired narrative undermines democratic principles and can enable further aggression. The president must uphold their responsibility to the American people by making decisions based on reality, not disinformation spread by hostile foreign powers. Aligning with Russian propaganda over the advice of our own intelligence agencies jeopardizes national security and emboldens authoritarian regimes. Ensuring the president has access to factual information from reliable sources is imperative for formulating an effective foreign policy that safeguards American interests and values.
