The American people need a functioning government now, more than ever. With the coronavirus, high unemployment, a stalling economy, upheaval in all levels of education, and civil unrest we need to know that our government is doing everything in its power to help us navigate this difficult time. The President's refusal to concede the election, and especially the refusal of the General Services Administration to grant President-Elect Biden transition access, will harm every demographic on the American people. The odds are stacked against us enough already! Please urge the President and your colleagues to start working together and allow the government to fulfill its purpose. Stop using political stunts that play with the lives and safety of your constituents.
