An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives
Vote NO on the OBBB!
The richest nation, yet this bill is morally bankrupt.
2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
Vote NO on the OBBB.
According to the Joint Economic Committee posted at jec(dot)senate(dot)gov reported June 5, 2025, millions are projected to lose access to health insurance if the OBBB passes in its current form.
The report breaks the projection down to districts within each state.
I urge you to check the chart to see how it will directly affect constituents in your district.
Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and the ACA are pro-life programs that all politicians should support, seek to improve, and defend. Yet, the OBBB in its current form includes provisions that could destroy lives and increase unnecessary hardship and suffering for Americans. The cuts to life-sustaining, life-saving, and life-improving programs will create rippling effects that will negatively affect us all.
Children will suffer and could perish if the cuts to the above-mentioned government programs remain in the bill. The Republican party claims to be the party of family values and pro-life; but the Republican crafted Resolution H.R.1 contains many provisions that reflect otherwise.
The OBBB was created by the Republican party. Request they publicly explain how their drafted bill supports their claim to be the party of family values and pro-life.
The OBBB is a testament to the humanity of our nation.
Cutting and gutting programs that help the poor to provide tax cuts to the rich are ethically wrong. The United States is professed to be the richest nation on earth, yet this bill would serve to prove America to be morally bankrupt.
Vote NO on the OBBB and urge your Republican colleagues to vote NO as well.
Thank you.
