An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Demand the release of fed funds promised to public schools for this school year!

8 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

The Department of Education's decision to withhold $6.2 billion in public education funding is detrimental to students and educators across the nation. This misguided action jeopardizes the quality of education and exacerbates existing resource disparities in our public school system. Congress must intervene to ensure these vital funds are promptly released to states and school districts. Delaying this essential financial support compromises learning opportunities for millions of children and puts an additional strain on already underfunded schools. The well-being of our future generations and the strength of our communities depend on access to quality public education. Inaction on this issue is unacceptable. Congress must demand the immediate release of these funds to uphold its commitment to providing every child with an equitable and robust educational experience.
