Block Weapons Package to Israel

I write as your constituent to ask you to join the Joint Resolutions of Disapproval introduced by Senators Sanders, Welch, and Merkley to block the sale of the $20 billion weapons package to the Israeli government, recently approved by the Biden administration. For almost one year, the United States has sent unconditional military funding and weapons to the Israeli government, even as it acts in flagrant violation of U.S. law and international law. The Israeli government and Israeli government officials are under investigation for war crimes, including genocide, by both the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court. We must immediately halt the sale and shipment of the weapons and war planes that the Israeli government is using to slaughter and starve Palestinians in Gaza. I urge you to co-sponsor and vote yes on these JRDs and work toward a full arms embargo. Stopping the flow of U.S. weapons to the Netanyahu regime is the only way to reach a ceasefire and save lives.
