The Gilded Age

The Executive Branch is completely out of touch with the reality of the lives of working class Americans. The simple fact that the President does not appear to know what groceries are is a gigantic indicator of this. The majority of Americans are not asking for wealth, just an ease on achieving their American dream. For many, that is simply being able to stretch their income to cover expenses, to not equate illness with instant poverty, & to know that the government has these interests at heart. Mr. Trump has a repeating phrase of “The New Gilded Age”, which is lovely on the surface, but if you revisit that history, you will see that it was only gilded for a certain percentage of people, with the working class not being among them. How can this be agreeable to you, when your constituents are repeatedly sounding alarm? Please step in and fight for those who elected you.
