Telehealth House Bill 3498

As a practicing physician in the State of Illinois, I feel it is essential to support House Bill 3498. My patients have come to rely on the newfound access provided by telehealth services and it would seriously impact their ability to safely and efficiently obtain care if telehealth services are rolled back. It is therefore critical that the state act to continue to support telehealth and it’s expansion across the state. Not only does this provide excellent access to care for so many Illinoisans, but in my view it will create more efficiencies and reduce cost of care in the long run.
