Oppose Trump's nominee for BLM director

I strongly strongly urge you to fight against and not approve the appointment of President Trump's nominee for director of BLM. Pierce is a strong advocate for selling public lands and appointing him would violate his ethics agreement to not participate in anything in which he had financial interest. He has continued to bring in income from the oil and gas industry. His record of trying to both sell off public lands, as "unneeded" and drill and mine on them is a direct contradiction of this agreement. It would be disastrous for the environment and the tourist industry in so many of our western states that depend on these wild and unspoiled areas for income, wildlife maintenance and restoration and so much more. Please let me know that you will oppose this appointment!
