Our Democracy is Being Destroyed, American’s Are Unhappy: Stand Up!

Americans are losing faith in our democracy, and for good reason. Trump and Musk have been tearing down government agencies, spreading lies, and grabbing more power for themselves. Critical institutions like the National Weather Service, FAA, and USAID are being gutted, leaving us more vulnerable to disasters, unsafe air travel, and weakened national security. At the same time, Musk has turned X into a propaganda machine, pushing election lies and conspiracy theories that make it harder for people to know what’s true (Marist Poll, 2025). This isn’t just bad leadership—it’s a direct attack on our democracy. Trump and his allies are dismantling the very checks and balances that protect us from authoritarian rule. We need action now. Congress and state leaders must investigate the administration’s use of misinformation, stop the reckless destruction of federal agencies, and stand up to this dangerous power grab. If we don’t fight for the truth and our institutions now, we may not get another chance.
