Remove RFK Jr.
I am writing to express my deep concern about the current measles outbreak in South Carolina's Upstate Region and in many other states. We need you to take immediate action to strengthen our countries vaccination efforts.
Measles is an entirely preventable disease, yet it poses a significant threat to our communities due to its high contagiousness. An infected person can spread the virus four days before and after the rash appears, and the virus can linger in the air for up to two hours after an infected person leaves an area. This makes containment challenging without proper preventive measures in place.
The most effective tool we have against measles is vaccination. The measles vaccine, available as MMR and MMRV, is our best defense against this outbreak. I urge you listen to science and not the pseudoscience of RFK Jr and his lackeys. You must allocate additional funding and resources to expand access to these vaccines, particularly in the affected areas. We should also consider implementing policies that encourage or require vaccination for school attendance and public employment.
Furthermore, I request that you support removing RFK Jr from his position at DHHS. His lack of understanding of science and promotion of false information is killing Americans. It’s time to exercise your constitutional duty to care for the people in this country.
Time is of the essence. With each passing day, more of our citizens are at risk. Our children, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals are counting on your leadership to protect their health and well-being.
Let science lead our healthcare.
