Don’t deport military spouses and family members

It is disgusting to hear that ICE is detaining and deporting the spouses and family members of active duty service members even more than it is the detain and deport hard working men and women with no criminal past, many who have been in the country for years and who would gladly become citizens or legal permanent resident if given the opportunity. We are a country of immigrants and are always better for it. You politicians have made immigration a political football to stir up the voters and the right has worked hard to demonize good people. We need the youth, industry and vitality of our immigration population to grow and sustain our economy and our rich and diverse cultural milieu. The public is against these very unchristian policies and you should not be afraid to oppose them. Let our soldiers keep their loved ones close so they can keep us safe without added personal trauma.
