Demand that Indigenous Women are protected from Violence too!

I am writing to express my deep concern over the Department of Justice’s removal of the Not Invisible Act Commission’s final report from its website. This report, created through bipartisan efforts and signed into law by President Trump, provided crucial recommendations for addressing the ongoing crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
Given the severity of this issue, I would like to understand how ignoring violence against women—particularly Indigenous women—will improve America’s security, values, or global standing. The bipartisan nature of the Not Invisible Act made clear that this crisis transcends politics. Why, then, has this vital report been erased?
Additionally, I ask you to clarify if there are other groups of women whose safety can be disregarded. If so, please specify who they are. If not, I urge you to take immediate action to ensure that this report is restored and that concrete steps are taken to address violence against Indigenous women.
I request a written response outlining your position and any actions you will take to address this issue. The American people deserve to know where their elected representatives stand on the safety and dignity of all women.
I look forward to your prompt response.
