The Laken Riley act is terrible. I'm shocked that you supported it. Any bill that would enable the deportation of a child arrested for petty theft is not worth supporting. The immigration debate should be centered in common sense, and it seems as though many lawmakers are instead surrendering to cruelty. The Laken Riley Act is atrocious. Go talk to Chellie Pingree. Don't be on the side of those who egged Hitler on when he started deportations.
